Admissions No prior knowledge or experience with the German language is required to be a preschool or kindergarten student at the SAGA School. The Seattle Area German American School admits students of any
race, color, creed, national and ethnic origin, and sexual orientation to all
the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made
available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of
race, color, creed, national or ethnic origin, or sexual orientation in the
administration of its educational policies, admission policies, financial aid
programs, athletic programs, hiring and employment, or in any other way. The admissions
process begins with an introductory visit to the school in the form of a tour.
Interested families have a chance to meet with
teachers and a Board member or parent volunteer to discuss the program and
observe the classroom.
If you are interested in arranging a tour please
contact the registrar at
registrar@sagaschool.org. Enrollment takes place annually in February. Priority enrollment is given to returning
students, siblings, and siblings of alumni if their application is received by
Feb. 15th, 2008.
All other applications are accepted between Feb.
18th and Feb. 29th.
By March 3rd you will be notified of your
application status.
Beyond March 3rd applications will be considered if
space is available. There is a Non-refundable fee of $100 due
with the admission application.
(For returning students: the $100 application fee is
necessary for reenrollment, but can be credited towards the June 2009 tuition). Here is our Application Form *.
